This is a conceptually driven program with an interdisciplinary approach to art-making. The broad-based Intermedia program embraces creative practices including installation, performance, sound, video, animation, compositing, Web art, and rapid prototyping.  Intermedia builds on theories of social art practice and tactical media that carry the aims of social change and democratic engagement in a variety of contexts. Programs unique to the school&#8217;s Intermedia curriculum include digital sculpture, time-based arts, animation, and performance.
