{"id":532,"date":"2023-12-06T15:36:03","date_gmt":"2023-12-06T20:36:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mosher.art\/studentwork\/?p=532"},"modified":"2023-12-06T15:36:58","modified_gmt":"2023-12-06T20:36:58","slug":"chance-operations-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mosher.art\/studentwork\/university-of-central-florida\/dig6647\/chance-operations-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Chance Operations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>GOAL: To create a system of creative expression using chance operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OBJECTIVE: Students will apply randomization techniques to generate unique creative output.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PROCESS:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What forms of chance operations do you encounter in day-to-day life?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How can you generate random numbers\/things?&nbsp; Come up with 10 different ways.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How do historic forms of divination use chance operations?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What is a \u2018cut poem\u2019 aka a \u2018Dadaist poem\u2019?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What is the difference between a blank grid and a randomly colored grid?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What does it mean to put limits, boundaries, or constraints on randomization?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continue researc\u00adhing online or elsewhere about the ideas we discussed in class and investi\u00adgate the many different art forms out there that explore ideas of &#8216;chance operations.
