Well, it’s been busy over here, though it may not look that way from my blog!  Michael Bernstein and I have been plugging steadily away at our Burning Man Arts Grant project R’eyh for the past two months.  It is a set of doors to knowhere, called R’eyh, placed in the desert between The Man and The Temple.  The structure is mostly done, and I’m working on the electronics now to control the lighting in an interactive way.

I also just found out last month that I was accepted as one of the platFORM 2014 artists, and will have a new (yet-to-be-made) large metal public  sculpture in Scottsdale, AZ!  It’s going to be a bigger version of one of these Standpipes.

Finally, you may have noticed some downtime on the site.  I switched my hosting and domain company at the end of may, but now everything seems to be back up and running.  Interestingly, this site is now available at matthewmosher.us and matthewmosher.org.  In the migration, I updated wordpress, and now have these fancy new sidebars showing some of my work you can buy on Etsy and other works in progress on Instagram.

Lastly, Julie Akerly and I are plugging away at our new performance residency program, [nueBOX], and have been getting some great support from the friendly folks at the Phoenix Center for the Arts.  More details on that and my other super secret project this fall.
