For this assignment you will build a GIF animation in Photoshop; it is similar to the digital collage but with motion. Approach the GIF format as a timeline on a continuous loop: can you make something that uses this idea of repetition? Your GIF can be an original animation or a heavy mashup. You can certainly pull imagery from many different sources to remix/reconstruct – old VHS, crummy TV games, hand drawings, high definition video/photos you shoot, etc. I expect you to create some really dynamic, interesting, and original content – keep your eyes open!
File Requirements:
- Size: 480px X 320px
- Resolution: 72ppi
- Include at least 5 different elements (“drawn” or collected)
- Have at least 20 frames
- No subtitle or narrative text
- Include the squirrel.
